In 1995, Bridget received her B.A. from the University of Chicago in anthropology. After graduation, she joined the Peace Corps and served two years in Cameroon where she worked to improve rural communities' access to clean water as a Water and Sanitation Volunteer. Inspired by the environmental challenges she observed during her Peace Corps service, Bridget attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she earned her law degree and also received a masters degree in Land Resources. Her graduate work focused on environmental studies and Cameroonian forestry law. Before joining Smith and Lowney, Bridget was an attorney with Appalachian Research and Defense Fund in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. At ARDF, Bridget represented clients at the administrative, district, circuit and appellate levels. Her practice included the areas of environmental and family law, as well as the representation of victims of domestic violence. In her spare time, Bridget enjoys hiking the beautiful trails of Washington and cross country skiing. Disclaimer | |||
